After the Interview: Workflow, Transcription & Organizing Your Project

This workshop covers strategies for processing oral history interviews and explores the advantages of creating textual documents to accompany oral history recordings. The emphasis of this workshop is on methods and tools for transcribing, and using this important step as a foundation for completing an oral history project that can be archived and accessed by future researchers. This workshop is one in a series of three: Introduction to Oral History (May 7th, $25) Audio Recording (May 14th, $20), and After the Interview: Workflow, Transcription & Organizing Your Project (May 21st, $20).
Participants who complete all three workshop sessions are eligible to register as Affiliates of the Oral History Centre and as such arrange use of the OHC's facilities and equipment.
