Interviews conducted by Eleanor M. Blain in 1986-1988 for her Master's degree research, a linguistic study of the "Bungi" dialect still evident among certain surviving children of early Red River settlers and natives (Cree). The interviewees also tell of much early Red River history and northern Manitoba history. Includes references to Winnipeg and Selkirk as well.
