What We Offer:

At the OHC our aim is not to do oral history for you, but to enable you to do oral history. Our primary function is training in oral history as a research method, and teaching the best practices that enable individuals and communities to do oral history research that will result in insightful outcomes, and is able to be preserved for future access. To this end, we provide training opportunities and services.

Oral History in the Classroom:

Lectures, Workshops and Tours

The Oral History Centre is able to provide tours of the Centre for your classes, speak to your class about oral history as a research method, or integrate “how-to” workshops into your regular course timetable. If this is something you are interested in, please submit a written request and we will do our best to accommodate!

Be sure to inquire well in advance, we reach capacity quickly each year!
