Call for Proposals: Manitoba League of Persons with Disabilities

26 Nov 2014

The Manitoba League of Persons with Disabilities (MLPD) is seeking proposals from a contractor to undertake an analysis of oral history interviews conducted by Carlos Sosa with nine MLPD leaders. Working from transcripts of the oral history interviews, which will be made available by the MLPD, the researcher would analyze the collected data to identify the themes which emerge and then summarize these trends in a plain language report that could be used to inform internal and external audiences, about such possible topics as what motivated the creation of the MLPD, why leaders have remained involved and what the MLPD and its members have contributed to Manitoban society.  Preliminary reports on the data prepared by Carlos Sosa for the MLPD Council indicate that the aforementioned subjects were addressed by key informants.  The report will be published on the MLPD’s website to make it available to a wide range on Manitobans.

In your proposal, please indicate the fee that you would charge for a report consisting of 20-25 single spaced pages.  Additionally, please share your past experience with producing documents similar to the one that MLPD would like to have developed.

Deadline for receipt of proposals: November 30, 2016

 Duration of Contract: December 2016–March 31, 2017

Thank you for your consideration of this request.
