A call for interview participants for the Crowe Affair Oral History Project.

In 1958, twelve faculty members resigned in protest over the firing of Harry Crowe, Professor of History at United College (a predecessor institution of the University of Winnipeg). This was a defining moment for academic freedom in Canada.

The Crowe Affair Oral History Project, led by OHC Member Dr. Janis Thiessen, seeks to interview the individuals who resigned, or their family members, about their experiences.
