Information For Narrators
If you have a concern with record(s) in our archive that are the result of an interview in which you participated, you are welcome to request a digital copy of your interview and any associated documents at any time. Even if you have signed an Archival Waiver permitting interview to be preserved at the Oral History Centre, you retain the right to:

- change the terms of access to your interview
- place or remove access controls on your interview (such as password protection)
- withdraw your interview from the archive.
Information For A Narrator’s Next of Kin
If you would like to get in touch with us regarding an interview with a relative that we have in our archive, please reach out using the contact form in the OHC Archives section of our website.
If you have been contacted by the OHC (or by a project representative) seeking retroactive consent to archive an interview with a family member, or if you have provided consent in the past, please note that in filling out an Archival Waiver on their behalf, you retain the right to:

- change the terms of access to their interview
- remove, change, or place access controls on their interview
- withdraw their interview from the archive

You may contact us with any questions by email, or by using the contact form in the OHC Archives section of our website.
Please indicate the nature of your request, and whether you are seeking a copy of an interview or modify the terms of access. If you would like an interview to be removed from the website or archives, please read our Take Down Policy before submitting your request.
Upon receiving your request, we will contact you you to let you know that your inquiry has been received, and to inform you of the steps we will take toward addressing your request.
